At the end of 2015 the daily reach of time.mn in the audience market was 4% according to the audience research on the use of Internet by the Press Institute. Apart from current affairs news reporting on social, political, business, sports and other issues the website transmits NTV television programs live. (NTV and time.mn are owned by the same company, Media group.) The founder of the website is journalist P. Sainbileg. Since six years she works in the public communication unit of the Presidential Office. Due to her political appointment she stopped managing the website and the outlet was transferred into the ownership of the Media Group. The current director of the Media group, A. Bayarbat, controls the editorial policy and management of the website. He is graduated in Marketing and business administration. The Media Group owns apart from the website time.mn the television channel NTV, two magazine Goodali and Capital guide and the FM radio 107. 50 percent of the Media Group belongs to Shunkhlai Group owned by the member of the Democratic Party (DP) and former MP G. Batkhuu (O-3069). There is no information on the ownership of remaining shares.
